Jay has been performing in the Dunedin and Otago area as Jay Juggler and Magician for the last 15 years. Initially he did a lot of work in Performance Groups, Street Performance, Busking and Festivals before moving on to the kind of work he does now.
This focuses more on work with Families and Children of all ages, including Pre-Schools, Kindergartens, Schools, Libraries, Community and Larger Events -nearly everything really!
In terms of style, Jay performs a show with multi-level humor. Plenty of jokes that the Kids don’t quite get and plenty of jokes that the adults don’t quite get too. (Now that we write that it doesn’t sound quite right, trust me, most people find the shows pretty funny).
Jay juggles ducks, balances toilet plungers on his chin and fits through tennis rackets- useful stuff like that really. He also performs magic.
His goal is to offer a light hearted fun way to build community and a sense of connection between people. Jay enjoys creating and sharing fun and playfulness wherever he goes.
